FTS is seeking a Compounding Operator 1 for a client in Pensacola, FL for second shift (3pm to 11pm).
Responsibilities:
· Set up, clean, and operate compounding machinery in compliance with FDA standards.
· Knowledgeable in at least two compounding processes.
· Record and document all data to accurately reflect the process times of a product batch and sign off batch records in accordance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice).
· Follow approved SOPs pertaining to cleaning and operation of the compounding equipment such as blenders, oscillators, fitz mills, drying rooms, separators, exhaust systems, dust collection systems, jacketed tanks, nitrogen systems, mixing tanks as well as ancillary equipment.
· Follow safety procedures and guidelines including the use of personal protection equipment, safety training and guidelines, and report safety issues immediately.
· Complete required training, including compounding, SOP, cGMP, and safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
· One year of experience in USDA or FDA-regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
· One year of experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
· Basic Computer Skills.
